Eorzea. A simple world, one ruled by light... and by darkness.
[break][break]
Darkness and the heartless came to the world of Eorzea but, unlike many other worlds, they were not helpless. Warriors strengthened by the world itself known as the Scions rose up to defend them and, at their core, was the Warrior of Light, their very own Keyblader.
[break][break]
Despite their best efforts they could not protect Eorzea from the heartless forever. The world was swallowed up, but before that happened Y'shtola used her magic to ensure the Warrior of Light was transported to another world. Doing so cost nearly all of her life energy and she found herself losing her grasp of her physical form as she too was swallowed up.
[break][break]
She wasn't lost, not entirely. Eorzea itself had granted Y'shtola power and it continued to do so, even lost to the darkness. It guided her to sleeping realms where she was able to begin to piece together a form for herself from the energy of the dreamers. Her dream eater form most closely resembled that of a silver Keeba Tiger, though her eyesight was something lost to her entirely. Learning to create something that mimicked her human (or, Miqo'te) form was harder, but was a necessity if she was going to slip from the Sleeping Worlds into the Waking Ones.
[break][break]
The Warrior of Light is still missing, though Y'shtola is confident they were able to escape safely. The same cannot be said for her companions, however, or for the rest of her world. Her goal now is restoring and awakening Eorzea, though doing so will sever the connection she has to the dreamers and will, in essence, kill her.
