He kept up the weak smile as they started to play. It didn't take too long for the game to serve its purpose and for distraction to begin to erase the stress from his mind. This was what today was supposed to be. A chance to reconnect with his brother, his twin, the person he was supposed to be closest with. A chance to relax and laugh and have fun with him. A chance to remember that he had a real family, and not just this broken one that he had learned to accept.
But...
The future scared Roxas, and Ventus could empathize with that. At the same time, though, there was so much that couldn't be done until they were older and in a better position in their life. How could he not think about that?
It was just... another difference between the two, and something else that Ventus would just worry about that.
