First Day of the Job [completed]

The old man grinned, telling Roxas he was happy the kid agreed, the kid felt his heart raise a beat. He really was waiting? Wasn't he? He explained about the paperwork and contract, what was all in it. Roxas blue eyes followed the brown hair as he crossed the room shuffled some papers and pulled out this what seemed to be pretty thin paper placing it in front of him. He explained that there'll be a copy if he wanted to re-read later, or simply read and sign later, and etc about having a lawyer.

He peered down at the contract, it seemed for the most part exactly what you'd expect from terms of service, don't do this.. Don't do that. Rules. rules. Reminders. Rules. He skimmed it before signing each section that was required, then sliding it over. Giving a smile that looked as natural as he could get, "Guess this means you're my boss, doesn't it?" He asked pitch of excitement in his voice. "So boss, what you want me to do first?"

ooc: You know I was thinking about it, know how Roxas hates being manipulated and used. I was thinking he might just misread Leon manipulating him to get him closer and get to know him.

Okay the copy held store hours, he accepted it after the old man explained it all to him, gently he placed it on the counter in thought. "That sounds good." He answered awkwardly not realizing how much work was getting work. "Uhh evenings and weekends.... I won't mind." The voice came out fast and almost a slight stutter, he was really going to do this. Work here, get sweet sea-salt, and was really doing this. It was his choice, had thought about it all this time. Each ice-cream, this man's can't be beat. He gotta get some of that pay and worker discount.

He began to fill out the schedule, paperwork. It was like homework, only more official. The male spoke over his work asking what he was interested in, he looked up kinda confused thinking about his options. The chef would learn all his recipes, just didn't have to tell a soul. He could always cook Ventus, Cloud, Lea, andor Xion meals.. Just don't spill out the secret. Then waiter would meet out with the people, gree them friendly lead them place to place. Cashier, same thing? Only standing behind the register, wait was that wrong? Crap, he had no idea. If he was the chef would he burn things, if he was the waiter would he scare customers away? "Umm.. Uhh.. What positions you have open? Or uhh had in mind?" Crap, he didn't know. maybe the guy let him try everything? "How about little of everything, just uhh, figure out where I belong?"

"Okey dokey boss." He gave a slight thumbs up in agreement, the agreement was to work all the jobs bounce to bounce figure it out. He paused in thought, "Soo... What do you need today?" He asked uncertain what to do now sliding the extra copy to the side out of the way, before walking around behind the counter to stand next to Leon within the guy's grasp.


ooc: Did you want to do a time skip of the First day? Where like end of the day? after all the training etc? and the two are cleaning up alone, bonding.

Cashier? Cashier it is." He answer with a slight fist pump to his hand in challenging pose. The day went fast he took the orders messed up one or two, then just instantly had it, almost felt naturally dealing with people's final totals and cash.

The day was just about over with and his body kinda ached, kinda pumped for more? If that was easy to explain? He felt so wide awake yet so tired same time,just about finishing mopping up the floor hard enough to cause large bubbles on the back cooking tiles. He stopped after finishing the last corner giving a smile, sweat brow wipe, turning his attention to the old man as he walked up.

With a compliment a pat on the back Roxas looked up with a smile that for once felt actually genuine, "Of course' I'm the best there is, well for a start.".  He leaned the mop against the wall, accepting the ice-cream, "Best all over town." He answered lightly accepting the ice-cream before walking up to a counter to lean on n a more relax position. From there he gradually opened it enjoying the feeling of pride swelling up inside of himself for finally working an actual job, for the greatest ice-cream maker in the whole town.

With bite filled with that sea-salt flavor, he swallowed the bites with a small breath of relief. "8am tomorrow? Ehh? Boss?" He asked with a slight grin and head tilt prepped for tomorrow.

"Really think so?" He gave a small joyous chuckle, "Won't be the same without you, you're pretty cool." Ate about half the ice-cream enjoying it.

"Day off? Leon, it is my first day! I won't quit on you that easy. I'm here to stay." The hands moved pretending to pull up a shirt to expose muscle as if prepping to push his hardest to get the work done. He gave a small yawn leaning back, "Getting up early, doing paperwork, staying late..." He sighed calmly thinking on it, thinking on Lea, guy was hardwork cool too. "You are tough, how do you do it."
