the cracks in our memories can't change the bonds in our hearts
Welcome
to Simple and Clean, an au post-3D Kingdom Hearts roleplay.
After Xehanort removed the chains of memories linked not to people, but to objects and events - the keyblade, the Princesses of Heart, and Kingdom Hearts itself - the heroes found themselves living in a world where they are... ordinary. Where they are highschool and college students, parents or siblings, and living in a world not too far removed from our own.
Casting his spell cost Xehanort strength and time, but he's begun to move - and not everyone had their memories pulled. How will the worlds react to the return of the darkness when the light doesn't know to stand against it?
Events
Xehanort's awakening is at hand, and with it has come the beginning of the destruction of his spell.
Updates
10/08/17 First major site event has begun! Xehanort has awoken and he's hellbent on ensuring his plans will not be interfered with. A halloween writing contest has started as well, so be sure to check them both out.
It was a rather warm nice day for ice cream, going out to the park, and just enjoying the nice sunny life. Ienzo had decided to investigate the center of where most of the patterns of anomalies seemed to be focused at, that maybe sitting for a singular location for hours would allow him to see any real disturbing value causing the earth act so odd in this field location.
Thus he sat tanktop version of a lab coat cross legged holding a book, his eyes scanning once a while from the chemistry history book to look at the children playing or lovers flirting about. What was it? after a chapter or two, he would put down the book pick up his phone and stare at the data. The main source, it was still here. Where was it?
He picked up the book again read half a section before groaning, maybe if he walked around? He closed the book with a huff picked himself up, pulling out his phone, thus began walking around the park. he stopped at the numerous strongest points in the park looked around. Eyes scanning past the people, nothing. Walked some more, eyes scan. Nothing. Turn to a tree pound on the wood where highest source was, placing the phone to scan the wood to find large readings, a high warmth. Nothing.

Roxas had adapted well to this world. Well as well as he could at the moment. He was still wearing his organization 13 outfit but he was able to hack his programming so his clothing looked normal. It looked like a blue T-shirt and blue pants. After fighting off Heartless with Riku and introducing himself he realized how his appearance could stand out. He wondered how Roxas, Axel, and the others hadn't stood out in the various worlds. Black cloaks weren't exactly blending in. He chuckled at the thought. He still needed a place to hide out. While being made of data he didn't need to eat or sleep. But he did need to try to blend in. Sleeping on the streets or an alley wasn't a good thing. And with the Heartless back staying on the streets by yourself wasn't a good idea.
He hadn't heard a word of other monster attacks yet but he feared it was only a matter of time. And he was only one person. He had to find a way to wake up Sora and the others. Even now he wasn't sure if Riku completely believed him. And he still felt guilty. He had tried to be honest and hopefully trigger his memories and instead they'd been attacked. If Riku had been seriously hurt, killed or turned into a heartless and nobody he'd have blamed himself. But he doubted Riku blamed him. He smiled though at the thought of Riku. For these past two years, he'd just on a mission. It was easy to ignore these emotions because he wasn't real. But then he'd met Riku and he made him feel so many emotions. Happiness, embarrassment, sadness, guilt. He now knew what it felt like to be human and also regret at not being one. He hadn't realized it but he was now at the park and he was pulled out of his emotions as he spotted a familiar face doing some kind of reading.
"Zexion!" said Zola, thinking out loud.
He then froze. He had been one of the Nobodies in the Organization and before that an apprentice of Xenhaort. Was he under this curse like everyone else? Or a spy for Xenahort. He had to be cautious but approach him. He forced a grin onto his face as he approached him.
"Hello? Are you looking for something?" asked Zola.
The readings, the warmth, the change of balance what did it all mean? The molecules were almost the verge of breaking, so why they did not burst to flames? Much required to fix the environment, rather sticking to destabilization? he didn't understand, he shook his head pushing away from the tree. He really needs to move on to the next highest reading this one only seems to be slowly lowering the longer he stayed, next. Go to the next spot. He distanced himself from the tree, pulling out his phone, nothing. He trailed back over to the benches, maybe read another section? That was when an odd blonder looking to be similar to his age walked up asking if he was looking for something.
Such an odd fellow wearing matching blue theme to that of his eyes, making such an observation. He tilted his head staring at the fellow, why did he look so similar to that black hair fellow? Homo sapiens looked all the same did they not? Though to take notice of his actions, quite skilled. He showed the phone to the teenager, "This. Something causing these readings right in this spot to be high amount of entropy, almost a slight aftermath of warmth, yet soothing enough not to combust into flame. Such oddness." He paused thinking tilting his head slight silver hair covering half his face, "It seemed to have stopped moving again. See where it begins to fade, yet only grows stronger top of us." He slightly pushed the phone to the teenager's hands, while he lowered himself to the ground touching it. Not warm? Too early? His gaze shifted over to where Roxas had been, where the data last was reading. Still nothing.

Zola paused as he s howed the phone to him.
"Readings huh? I didn't know this town had any scientists. Or you just a repair man?" asked Zola.
When Ienzo shoved the phone into his hand he looked at it. And he recognized the data. Ienzo was looking for him. He wasn't aware of causing any trouble with computers here. He guessed he was still new to his digital body. He hadn't stayed in one place for too long before now so he guessed it hadn't been an issue. He handed the phone back to Ienzo guessing his cloak was also keeping him hidden from scans somehow. Or his device wasn't able to detect he wasn't made of flesh and blood.
"I've never seen things like this before. You tracking a computer virus or a hacker?" asked Zola, trying to sound concerned but act like he didn't know too much about computers.
"I'm a student, a stu-dent." He clarified the blonde, before offering data on himself. "My name is Ienzo Corvus, I go to the school in this city. Who are you? you look to be my age, approximately 15 to 18." He tilted hs head slightly peering closer before straightening and giving the guy room to look at the phone. During that time he peered the area, what was causing it?
The guy began talking about never seeing it before asking about tracking a computer virus or hacker. This greatly confused the male, a hacker? Out in a park? Computer virus? Where nature grows? "What makes you say that?" He asked highly curious how the guy came to this conclusion, was there something he was completely missing? His mind began to whirl possibilities of someone "hacking" the trees with data possibly causing a natural order disturbance. Just.. There was no equipment no person, absolutely no evidence of such a thing. Was this homo sapien as dumb as the other one? The silver, who insisted his app as broken? Was there something he overlooked?

Zola listened to him.
"Nice to meet you Ienzo." said Zola.
He paused as he smiled.
"I'm Zola. I'm well not from around here. Just moved here recently. Although there are two people in town who look like me. I haven't met them yet but heard of them. Roxas and Ven. If you haven't met them you'll probably meet them sooner or later. They're twins and I'm sure some will think I'm a long-lost triplet. But we're not related as far as I know." said Zola.
He smiled.
"Well, you were tracking something? And I don't see many computers or devices out here in the park of all places. So I thought if you were looking for something compute rwise? I know the basics but I'm not an expert on them. Unless your thing is tracking nature or a person it seems odd to end up here of all places. Unless you're looking for something else." said Zola.
He was trying to sound confused but not completely clueless on the topic. So the guy might share knowledge about it. From his memories of Roxas Zexion had been one of the nicer ones and Roxas had been sad to hear he and the others had died in Castle Oblivion. But Ienzo got a second chance to be human again like Lea and the others and Zola was glad for that.
"Two people in town? Looks like you? Not twins?" He blinked confused thinking of all that information, "Chances for such genetic exact copy are extremely rare, not improbable." There were others in similar manner, maybe he should keep an eye out? They were just some homo sapiens, probably slower than the guy at the coffee shop. Or some use.
The guy gave a small smile before asking more details confusing the scientist. What was this guy up to? It almost felt like a lie, but why? There was nothing out of ordinary here, why lie? He gave a slight harsh glare, "Entropy, 'am following the patterns of increase entropy." He clinched his phone closer to his body leaning toward the other one anger ringing in his eyes, "Why can't you understand the world is growing in entropy? Breaking of balance, genetic code, high possibility of explosions or worst. You stupid homo sapien can't seem to grasp how serious this is, not my work that's wrong. Its your delusions that things are okay."
He gave a small growl looked down at the phone began to walk away, why did it stop moving? The patterns changed to singular location right wher he stood, where was it? The cause? Nothing felt different, it felt normal. Computers? Could it be some sort of waves? Audio? Light? What type? He looked away from the phone once more frustration and confusion crossing his face at this fake thing. He.. Needed.. a device.. to analyze wave patterns.. That should help? Possible Electron movements? Molecules? Energies? What WAs it! What was causing the increase of Entropy! The increase of energy into a singular area?! Pushing the inner workings around, almost weaking it. Like. Like. Computer hack! No, no. Was nothing to do with such stupidity. This was nature!

Zola chuckled.
"Yeah I guess it's a small world." said Zola.
He paused confused.
"Entropy? What is entropy?" asked Zola.
When the guy got mad Zola sighed.
"I'm sorry if I upset you. i'ven ever heard of entropy and I'm not as smart as you. But I'd like to find out. If you want to tell me about it. Unless you have better things to do." said Zola.
He smiled sheepishly looking down feeling awkward but not wanting Ienzo to go. He kinda of wanted to know what was going on. Even if he didn't really understand it. It was important to Ienzo and he hoped talking about it might cheer him up a little.
Small world, yes in some belief it is a small world, others however believe it was an infinite worlds. He thought of this for a moment, many places high far away, it was a small world indeed. Teeny tiny earth, teeny tiny spec. The male seemed to be picking up lurking asking about entropy apologizing. The scientist felt a slight discomfort and confusion, he tilted his head. Did homo sapiens care so much about learning? He did, he was one, maybe.. This one cares?
He turned at the blue eye blonde staring intensely with his silver eyes trying to figure out why this male cared so much. "Entropy? A randomness within a system that is but the Disorder that a scientist cannot decipher that may play a major role within a certain Thermodynamic situation. The Entropy can never decrease only increase its very existence once created within that system. The make up of energy in location divided by temperature, if it is risen enough could cause disastrous collapses in a system to equal out the gradients." He paused squeezing his book closely before taking a small sigh staring at the subject in front of him, "The Entropy, breaks the system, if it is not equalized. I need to figure out what's causing this system, before lives are lost." He stared at the blue eye, he won't understand it. This homo sapien couldn't understand how dangerous this could be, how he had no idea what this is.. Just.. Something.. causing the world around be fragile, heat released, just.. What... Longer it stays in the system, more dangerous it can become.

Zola nodded listening to him.
"I see. So could be something disrupting an eco system? Like new plants, new animals? New diseases? Stuff like that?" asked Zola.
He understood it a little and he was curious. It sounded intriguing.
"So something is wrong here? That's not good. I know death is a natural part of life but if this sounds as bad as I think a lot of people could be suffering or worse. Any idea how to track it down? I'd like to help out if I can." said Zola.
Something disrupting the system, is that no what he just spelled out? Stated? He thought on the suggestions before giving a nod, "Anything added that causes imbalance... Any of those could be it but this.." He sighed almost tired, "Is different... Its everywhere, yet no where. Its is random yet was a movement pattern." He shook his head before looking at the phone showing it. "The thing.. Its here, at this spot." He motioned a radius around him arm's length, the exact circle on the phone. "Well.. It seems to cause high increase of energies, to extreme levels." No.. That wasn't right it was something more... He chewed on his lip in thought before mumbling, "Coffee.. Sounds great.. This whole thing been bothering for days, its not.. Normal. I don't know the cause of its high readings." He looked at his phone again, still was there.. Why? Why did it suddenly stop moving? Why did the world feel the same?

Zola nodded.
"So something is upsetting the balanace? You think you have the general area but nothing seems to pinpoint it?" asked Zola.
He frowned.
"Could your equipment be malfunctioning somehow? I mean it should be able to find what the problem is. So either we're standing on it or something or someone messed with your equipment." said Zola.
He listened to Ienzo speak in more technobabble hearing something about coffee and not being normal.
"Maybe you could check your equipment. If it's working ok then you know something else is causing your readings to go wrong. I mean I guess other than magnets or other devices being around I'm not sure what could make machines mess up though." said Zola.
General area? Upsetting the balance? He tried to grasp the others words, but just wasn't making sense. Yes, on point, it was something there yet not. Like another world, a black hole.. That wasn't a black hole. It wasn't negative energy.. just just.. excess energy.. He stared the phone, Why did it stop moving?
The homo sapien.. dared say it.. Just like that other sapien... That his equipment.. his tech.. His invention.. was broken Frustrated he slung around squeezing everything tightly face flushing pink. "No! It works fine! Its an application attached to my labs at home! IT works FINE! Just starting less than a week ago! Anomalies occurred! High spikes! There something here... In this spot... Causing them!" Tears began to gather his eyes, he barely even noticed any eyes watching him.. Didn't care. Just. Frustrated that this thing.. Everyone swore he was crazy about, when HE knows it existed!

Zola saw Ienzo seemed upset and he looked sympaethically and sadly at him.
"I'm sorry. I was trying to help. I guess I'm not doing a good job of that. I didn't mean to upset you." said Leon.
He paused seeing he was tearing up and on instinct pulled the other guy into a hug. Personal space wasn't really something he knew about and he was trying to help. And people liked hugs didn't they?
"It's ok. Whatever you're looking for is out there I'm sure. It just make take awhile to find it." said Zola.
He looked up at the words the hurt turning to confusion, the guy is apologizing? Was there a reason an advantage? The guy moved forward after a long pause in an attempt of a hug, he pulled away by instinct attempting to slap both of the guy's arms away with his own, incapable using his hands due to the book and phone.
Pushing himself couple feet back tripping over the long white robe landing on the ground, a glare shot upward toward the guy. Frustration and anger surging, instantly sizzling out as he gently raised off the refusing any help that may have been offered. "At least someone agrees." He huffed harshly the hint of anger still lurking this followed by a cool calming breath, "Ca-can we share contact details?" At least this homo sapien was willing to believe in him, unlike.. others... He did ask about entropy, curious of it all. Maybe. There was hope for this one? He quickly changed the phone to contact information waiting for the other guy to share his intels, showing his on through the mobile screen.
