(I will call Kaguya ‘kay’ throughout this for simplicities sake.)
[break][break]
~ Before death ~
[break][break]
Kay wasn’t much of a fighter growing up, he was more of a wimpy kid and always clung to his mother whenever he was in trouble. His mother would normally allow this and led to him being quite reliant on her throughout his lifespan.
[break][break]
Hitting high school was probably the worst thing that could have happened to Kay. He thought that friends only drifted apart in those awful movies that everyone watch, he never thought it would ever happen to him. In middle school, Kay didn’t have many friends at all, to be honest. Most were girls, but he was loyal to them and he was loyal in return. His mother always told him they wouldn’t be there forever, and in a way, he got that, but he never thought it would be so soon.
[break][break]
High school came along and he was left alone, and he was not expecting it. Every attempt he would make to hang out with his old friends led to constant rejection and put-downs. Kay was now an outsider, he didn’t know why, but it had happened and he accepted his fate. He continued his time at high school with his head held high the whole way through. There were hard times and many counts of bullying. The bullying was at its worse when Kay was seen on a weekend kissing a guy at the Shibuya park. He had constant attacks on his sexuality and many became violent.
[break][break]
Finally, graduation came and he was finally free. He moved out of his home and in with his boyfriend that he met in Twilight Town. He was a nice man, gentle and kind, just like Kay’s mother in a way. It was strange comparing a guy to a female, but that was how he had felt.
[break][break]
One night, after tea at the local diner, Kay, and his boyfriend had come home and fallen asleep almost immediately. They were both awoken by the sound a breaking window. Kay’s boyfriend, being the heroic type, went to sus it out and told Kay to call the police. The hardest part about this was that the phone was in the room down the hall, it was a dumb idea to put it in the study, Kay told him that on multiple occasions. One thing led to another, while the two made their way down the hall they were both attacked and placed unconscious.
[break][break]
They both awake, tied up and facing each other on chairs. There were two men standing in black masks, but they both knew who they were. There was a bit of beef at the diner earlier that night about the two showing affection in public, apparently, gays weren’t allowed to in their part of town.
[break][break]
The two died in front of each other, murdered in cold blood...
[break][break]
~ After death ~
[break][break]
Now, Kay had never thought that there was ever any kind of afterlife. He wasn’t one to go to church, probably because they didn’t believe in him at all. But he soon found that there was an afterlife, and he found out that the Christians were still wrong. There wasn’t some amazing god/devil waiting for you at the end of the line, there was yet another decision. Your life is made of them, and it isn’t any different in the afterlife.
[break][break]
Kay found himself in a game, called the reapers game. He was forced to run around and do all these crazy things that he could have never imagined. He tried to go solo, he refused to pact with anyone due to his lack of trust at this point. He didn’t know why he had no trust as he couldn’t even remember how he got himself messed up in these games. Soon enough, he found himself with a man who challenged him to a game of Russian roulette. It was here that Kay thought his life had ended. But it was just another opening.
[break][break]
Kay refused to die, and he liked the idea of being a master of the games. The power it provided was something that he so desperately desired. So, he became a reaper… An administrator of death.
[break][break]
Kay woke in a park without a scratch on him, strange, but he thought he was meant to be dead in his bedroom. At this point, he had no clue what was a stranger. He made his way home, thinking it was a dream, only to find his boyfriend dead, tied to a chair, just like in his… Dream?
[break][break]
His chair was also there, covered in blood. Kay didn’t want to mess with the crime scene, but he knew he had to. Cleaning as much as he could, he had to get rid of his boyfriend somehow… So, what better way than to dump him in a ditch in the closest forest?
[break][break]
Kay began to sprout black wings that he couldn’t control. He was too scared to leave his house, the thought of them popping out in the middle of nowhere was never going to end very well. He locked himself away, trying to understand his new powers and how he did things.
[break][break]
It has been three years from that night, and Kay has not been approached by his boyfriend’s family. He had never even met them and didn’t know if he even had one. But, something was different about Kay now. He cared so much less, and he was never scared… Never. Kay knew it wasn’t normal, but he never thought to really question it. Kay had gotten a grip on his powers and understood how to use them. It got so good that he was involved in his own reaper’s games.
[break][break]
It was here that he came across two players that had made a pact. He had been playing reaper sport three with another reaper that was also involved. He didn’t know her too well, but he enjoyed the game. This was Kay’s first killing as a reaper, and he enjoyed it more than anything. It became clear to him that he was no longer the hunted, and was now the hunter… It excited him...

Soft persuasion- Can plant certain thoughts in people's heads to try and manipulate them. Can be resisted by the victim easily, so is mainly used for minor things such as guiding them to certain places.
[break][break]
Keen Senses- His senses are pushed slightly beyond their limits, giving him an up on his prey.
[break][break]
Sleep venom- K has nails sharper than most, and he is able to use 'venom' on the end as a way to get his victims to sleep. The cut has to be pretty deep and takes about 5 minutes to have any sort of effect.
