Xion Galahad

Xion was created by Vexen in an attempt to duplicate the abilities of the keyblade wielder. His experiment was a success, but there was an unintended side-effect that left her heart -- or the mockery she had at the time -- tied with Roxas and Sora. The longer she was alive, she move she siphoned away both Sora's memories and Roxas' energy.

She was killing them both.

It was a truth that Xion wanted to deny, and she even threatened to run away with both Axel and Roxas. These threats were bad to Riku, someone who was attempting to get her to see what she needed to do. Her expectation was for him to attack her, or tell her how much he hated her, but the silver-haired male just shrugged and smiled sadly.

"I wouldn't hate you. I would just be sad. I'd miss my friend."

As badly as she didn't want to, Xion couldn't deny the truth that was stirring in her patchwork heart. The feelings and the memories that she had-- too many of them were not her own and she had no right to them. She had to give them back... and dying was the only way to do so.

Though a curious thing happened on her death. She was forgotten in her entirety, as Namine had warned, except by one. The selfsame keyblade wielder who had just smiled sadly at her. In the back of his mind the memory of her voice lingered and she was able to sink deep into his heart to scream and wail before slipping into slumber.

When Xehanort reformed the worlds into One, her connection to Riku was what made her his sister instead of just another Garden triplet. She was, and is, fiercely protective and proud of her brother. Even after she became friends with Lea and Roxas, she never stopped standing up for her brother. Insults and comments directed toward him were met with a harsh tongue and a firm slap to the back of the head, coupled with crossed arms and a frown. He was her brother and she loved him.

When Riku made the decision to escape from their abusive father, Xion was the one who chose to go with him instead of finishing her last year of schooling on the islands, preferring to be the 'new kid' instead of being separated. It would be fine, she would be fine, and someohow had to look out for Riku!
