After Xehanort removed the chains of memories linked not to people, but to objects and events - the keyblade, the Princesses of Heart, and Kingdom Hearts itself - the heroes found themselves living in a world where they are... ordinary. Where they are highschool and college students, parents or siblings, and living in a world not too far removed from our own.
Casting his spell cost Xehanort strength and time, but he's begun to move - and not everyone had their memories pulled. How will the worlds react to the return of the darkness when the light doesn't know to stand against it?

Xehanort's awakening is at hand, and with it has come the beginning of the destruction of his spell.

10/08/17 First major site event has begun! Xehanort has awoken and he's hellbent on ensuring his plans will not be interfered with. A halloween writing contest has started as well, so be sure to check them both out.
Sora was nervous as he walked to Roxas's house. He hadn't seen any of his family yet and he wanted to see them. Cloud wasn't his stepfather anymore but he was kind of family. And he had two half-brothers. His father had run into Ventus lately and told him what little he knew about what the family was going through. Sora had decided he needed to not only hang out with his brothers but try to cheer t hem up. So he knocked on the door hoping Roxas was home.
"Hello? Roxas? Mr. Strife? Is anyone home? It's Sora." said Sora.
It was his day off, and things had been been going great at the starlight, why even Leon taught him how to make the seasalt ice cream... He may time to time made some at home, such as this very day. Just placing the ice cream into the freezer he had successfully cleaned up the mess, when there came a knock at the door. Home alone, the choice to answer the door, ahh what if it was important?
"Coming!" He shouted kinda excitedly, in a rather good mood from learning the recipe. Dancing around the room before reaching the door, swinging it open he looked to see somebody around his age possibly a bit younger? Never know with baby cheeks. The guy had dark brown hair, a rather cheery air about him, instantly Roxas recognized him. "Hey.. You're Leon's son?" He pointed slightly in confused thought, "You help out around Starlight Diner? Sometimes?" Why was he here? Did the boss need him, "somebody called in didn't they?" he asked with a slight disappointed sigh. More for that employee bailing, than him actually getting couple more hours in.

Sora grinned as he opened the door and then looked at him surprised as he mentioned Leon.
"Oh that's right. He said you worked for him." said Sora.
He shook his head.
"No dad didn't send me about work. He didn't know this when he hired you. I guess he didn't know your names just that you lived in the town. But well I'm your half-brother. I wanted to see if you wanted to hang out. I always wanted a brother and now I have two of them." said Sora.
He reached forward and hugged Roxas. It didn't occur to him what a shock this might be. He thought Roxas would be as excited to have more family as he would.
The kid seemed to have forgotten him already? Then they never really did talk, Roxas was one to just focus on his work and enjoying his breaks with a little bit seasalt ice cream. He listened becoming even more confused as the younger of the two went on about how his Dad didn't know this hanging out... How He was his half-Wait. Misheard. HALF BROTHER?
His brain trying to see past the sudden connections, when he felt a sudden weight on top of him causing him to step back bracing himself. His reaction jaw slightly dropping releasing a confusion, "HUH!" Before reaching forward pushing the lung crushing kid. "Wa-wa-wait.. Hold up." He wiggled his finger face clinching up in confusion, "You're. My Half Brother. THen..." He paused blush crossing his face in frustration that Leon was... hi.him... "You have got to be Fucking kidding me." The word completely slipped out the anger flashing, slight reaction was a mixture of. Slam the door in the kid's face. Fuck cussed in front of the kid. He decided to avoid both. "Uhh... Just. Come in." He answered in slight defeat, closing the door behind Sora should the kid entered.
Sora paused at his reaction and was surprised. He shook his head and came in.
"Thanks." said Sora.
He smiled at him.
"I guess you didn't know. I didn't mean to surprise you with this. I know this can be quite a shock. It's just when I heard I had two brothers I was so happy. I had friends before but it's not the same as having brothers. And my best friend moved away before I moved here so I can see him more than if I was just staying at the islands. But I'm really glad I get to know both of you." said Sora.
He paused trying to think of what to do.
"So what do you want to do? Play games? Watch a movie?" asked Sora.
The kid walked in thanking him, he closed the door scratching the back of his head as the kid broke into explanation. The information was rather overwhelming and highly unexpected. Why did the guy find this whole thing as the greatest thing to have happened? Here he was trying to piece together.. How he completely missed all the little hints, the little clue ins. Moving to see family, right after what happened? As the kid went on... he talked about his friend moving away, okay.. That was.. He kinda related? Kinda?
Wait. Did Ventus know the truth? Probably not, the guy had new people to focus on. The kid only stalked him out because he worked with his dad.... The same guy.. Who had.. it with his mom.. That... Ouch, headache. Then there was Xion still missing. This this was too much. Almost on autopilot he pointed to the TV setup "Yeah.. yeah Games over there.." not quite listening to what the kid had said.. Too much energy. "I'm going... to be in the kitchen.. Just. just.. Don't break anything."
He walked off without another word to the kitchen, slipping out his phone staring at Leon's contact.. How. Could. It. Be? Just. this. This. With a slight scream he threw the phone cracking the screen...
Sora grinned at the thought about games. He nodded glancing at some ofe the games as Roxas headed into the kitchen.
"Wow I don't have some of these. These are so cool." said Sora.
He paused hearing a thump in the kitchen as he walked towards the sound.
"Roxas are you ok?" asked Sora.
He was worried he might have hurt himself but he didn't sound hurt. He might have just dropped something. But he couldn't help feeling worried. He had more family than he ever that he would have. He knew they had a lot of lost time to catch up on and he wanted to spend as much time with his brothers as he could.
The younger of the two came running in asking if he was okay, he looked down at the phone. "Yeah... just upset that it slipped. I think I might have broken the screen." He gave a loud sigh before bending over to pick up the phone, sure enough there was a crack. Slowly silently he pocketed it. Turning to the kid placing a big fat well practiced smile, "So! what did you want to do? Lead the way!"
He was probably right, luckily his father got phone insurance, just take it back later. Yet, some part of him was proud of the crack, it was his. Maybe, just maybe he'll keep it? He did after all make it, his choice.
The burnett asked about racing game he answered half halfheartedly. "Yeah Star wars game, then the need for speed, uhh what about smash Ventus likes that one." He pointed to the games for the kid too look at, while he grabbed the remote to set the tv.
He just about finished the hook up before replying, "Yep everything is finished in the hook up." He picked up a remote, clicked on, then walked sitting on the couch. Thus he created a new match between them. "Your father said he wanted to be closer?" He asked suddenly slight in thought.
"Yeah. He wanted to be closer to the rest of the family." said Sora.
He paused looking up at Sora.
"He figured out who you were later after he hired you. I'm kind of jealous he got to meet you first." said Sora.
He paused looking at him. He never got to know his mother but he felt like bringing her up might cause more pain. So he focused on the rest of the family.
