Every Reaper had, at one point or another, been a human. Then they had died, and they had been given a choice - either exist as an administrator of death, or continue on to whatever their afterlife holds.

The 'game' doesn't exist quite the same here. Those who die who feel they shouldn't have died get offered a chance, and reapers prowl after them. They gain energy by interfering with the players and killing them. This is something they have to do; if they don't kill, then they will be killed.

Reapers eat normal, everyday food just like humans, and they need to eat in order to feel full/not feel like they're starving all the time.

Reapers have skeletal black wings. New reapers have a tendency to show theirs, while more experienced and strong reapers can keep them close or even hide them entirely.

Because of their nature, they cannot use Light-based magic.
