His parents were both killed in a fire created by an experiment that had gone absolutely wrong, luckily his parents had a scientist friend who helped by adopting the young 5 year old Ienzo. Raising the child as his own he had introduced the kid to many various biology, physics, chemistry, and technology studies. The child was a quick learner, praised for his great effort and work, thus he went upward in all his classes. [break][break]Reaching the age of 16 he felt longing to try different things, began to experiment much against his Adopted Father's rules about life and pushing science "too far". In a way the child wanted to express various philosophies to the modern world of technology, wished to see it all play out, just what happens when you do this? The child absolutely seemed to have a misconception of boundaries and limits.

Frustrated, the Adopted Father sent him to a public school in Shibuya, hoping that maybe interaction by more "normal" people would cause the kid to be less.. Experimental.

Thus the past year and Ienzo managed to get his own house with its own basement to keep his Lab and experiments more secretive, all money received from sales of various illegal and/or black-market inventive products. Time to time he can be caught skipping classes, thinking they are absolutely pointless. All the education isn't "challenging enough", while he may seem unhappy, this is highly untrue. He is highly happy among the books, computers, and personal lab. Guarantee, check his lab for him, high chance he'll be there. Has been known to get so in-depth on a small experimentation that he'll forget to eat.

Endless hours of no food living on caffeine, yeah coffee addiction, blacker the better. Highly talented at lying, deceiving, and throwing things. Has been caught misleading students to believe he isn't up to no good; is helping "expand/evolve" humanity.

Experienced, Ienzo had spoke up convincing Xemnas that he should expand his studies and build a lab. The very same lab he and the other apprentices against Xemnas wishes continued experimenting with inhumane methods that eventually caused mass production of Heartless. Too late Xemnas had attempted to stop the experiments, Locked away to darkness. This leaving room for Xenahort to betray attacking the apprentices turning them all into Nobodies/Heartless. Ienzo's heartless did not make it due to its weak form, however Ienzo's Nobody survived ending to work for Xemnas under the Organization 13.

His nobody had taken the name Zexion, thus he had continued to assist Xemnas with his plans. Later on he had helped small training with Roxas, to trick pull a small illusion trick on Xion. Soon after he works in cohots to pull a betrayal, that led to learning of Riku's darkness. With this knowledge he had sent Lexaeus, in a desperation to gain members, urge Riku to join them. This however fails, causing numbers to fall even more, forcing Zexion to no longer bother with his original plan, opting to fight against Riku instead. He had made an attempt to weaken Riku by pulling on his illusion power, reflecting that he was a disgrace why bother going for Sora? This absolutely failed forcing Zexion to flee verge of death, Axel betraying him having a replica Riku take on Zexion's lifeforce.

Later on he awoken to his original Ienzo self, where he tells the reborn organization members around the bits of information about nobodies and heartless, along possibility of returning to their homeworlds. Thus he stayed in the labs attempting to recover from all that had happened before.
