After Xehanort removed the chains of memories linked not to people, but to objects and events - the keyblade, the Princesses of Heart, and Kingdom Hearts itself - the heroes found themselves living in a world where they are... ordinary. Where they are highschool and college students, parents or siblings, and living in a world not too far removed from our own.
Casting his spell cost Xehanort strength and time, but he's begun to move - and not everyone had their memories pulled. How will the worlds react to the return of the darkness when the light doesn't know to stand against it?

Xehanort's awakening is at hand, and with it has come the beginning of the destruction of his spell.

10/08/17 First major site event has begun! Xehanort has awoken and he's hellbent on ensuring his plans will not be interfered with. A halloween writing contest has started as well, so be sure to check them both out.
The man explained how he was an orphan and grew up with this girl named Yuffie, then just like that gave a smirk about how Roxas made him smile. It kinda made his skin crawled, he felt a slight growth of distrust. Roxas blue eyes flickered off of the owner's face passed him at one of the workers. The worked looked like a natural, even laughing enjoying things, he felt his hand slightly clinch annoyed.
He was glad for the slight distraction of the growing discomfort as the man broke into about his family. How they were all normal, his posture relaxed a bit a smile he unknowingly lost came back. "Ha probably, old Dad's are never cool." He gave a childish grin fighting the sudden growth of pang, his family used to be that close. till the fighting turned from playful to just painful. He tapped his finger annoyed at how his own brother shut him out, at least things were beginning to look brighter, his brother started messaging more, smiling more, hugging more, now he just felt it was too much. Wasn't there a balance?
He gave a small groan looking down at the burger, "So full can't take another bite, waiter give me my ticket please." He made a desperate arm movement playfully toward the owner. He needed to get out of here, too much, too much family warmth.
Three dollars? That was cheap, plus a free sea-salt, this guy... This guy right here. He accepted the money, walked to the cashier who typed everything in, he handed the money. Pay was completed, he looked toward Leon to give a last wave uncertain if the guy even saw it or not. Then walked out the door. Once outside, he smiled to himself, yep totally going to come back get more of that seasalt. He had 10 dollars, time to spend it...

Leon smiled as the guy stood up paid and left. Leon waved goodbye to the kid. He hoped he saw him around again. He would be a fun regular who would enjoy talking to. He stood up and grabbed a rag and cleaner as he cleared the table of the plates and cup placing them both in the sink. He handed the cleaner to another waiter who took it and cleaned the table. Leon washed out the plate and cup while tossing the straw into the trash. He then left the dishes to dry as he walked over to another customer to help them out.
