to Simple and Clean, an au post-3D Kingdom Hearts roleplay.
After Xehanort removed the chains of memories linked not to people, but to objects and events - the keyblade, the Princesses of Heart, and Kingdom Hearts itself - the heroes found themselves living in a world where they are... ordinary. Where they are highschool and college students, parents or siblings, and living in a world not too far removed from our own.
Casting his spell cost Xehanort strength and time, but he's begun to move - and not everyone had their memories pulled. How will the worlds react to the return of the darkness when the light doesn't know to stand against it?

10/08/17 First major site event has begun! Xehanort has awoken and he's hellbent on ensuring his plans will not be interfered with. A halloween writing contest has started as well, so be sure to check them both out.

"IF YOU FALL I WILL BE THERE" - THE GROUND
Lea was slightly shocked by the silver head’s reply. This had gone a little further than Lea had originally thought. Lea shook off the insult, as he was quite use to the constant curses from the guy. Lea went to open his mouth before Roxas decided to do all the talking for him, ‘God dammit Roxas,’ he thought to himself, realising how close this was to becoming a fist fight. If anyone was going to throw the first punch it was going to be Roxas and Lea knew this.
Lea’s eyes widened even though he saw it coming. He knew that Roxas would be the first the throw, but never thought that he would follow through with it. He reached out, attempting to catch the fist. When he managed to grab the fist, it was millimetres off Riku’s face.
Lea could see that Roxas was on fire and was going to be quite disappointed in the fact that he had not allowed that hit to land, as much as he wanted it to.
“Now, your sister is lost I presume? If something had happened to her, do you think she would like to hear you took your anger out on little old Roxas here?”
Xion, who was Riku’s sister, was someone who Lea had met through Roxas but he had the same feelings towards her as he had felt with Roxas. He knew that she was someone that he cared about, or at least similar to someone he cared for in a past life.
Lea turned his head to Roxas and winked at him, hoping that it would get some sort of a message through the young boy’s head. Lea cared about Roxas, he wasn’t sure why he cared as much as he did, but he usually just rolled with it. He wasn’t someone you would usually see Lea hanging around, especially when he was growing up. But, Lea loved having him around non-the less.

Riku currently lives in Shibuya in a small apartment with Xion. He works more than full time in order to pay for her and himself, and purposefully distances himself from others to keep from being distracted... and to avoid the strange sparks of emotions that being around Sora and Kairi cause.

He jerked back and exhaled heavily in response to the fist that came flying ever-so-close to his face. Roxas’ fist was caught by Lea before it could actually connect with Riku but it was close, way too close for comfort. Jackass.
“If you bothered to open your eyes, you would see that he’s the one trying to hit me.” Roxas’ presence was disregarded, both as a sign of disrespect towards the other and because he knew there was no reason to try to keep on talking to him. The blond was riled up and any attempt to reason with him was going to result in Riku just (metaphorically) spinning his wheels. Better to try to talk to Lea; he could at least try to reason with him.
“Xion is missing and that little shitstain has something to do with it, I know he does. He’s always the reason behind he ever doing anything wrong!” Riku took a step towards Lea as he glared at him, barely having to look up in order to meet his gaze. As far as he was concerned his baby sister was practically a saint, and the blond was the reason that she ever even thought about putting a toe out of line.

The fist did not make the contact it was intended, oh no shock written across his face before fury from the hand that stealthily placed itself in his aiming way preventing his hand from make skin on the bastard he was yearning to hit. The fingers wrapped around the fist, his blue eyes sharply slitted over to Lea before he yanked it back holding that glare. Every centimeter of his inner being wanted to quickly swing around Lea and make contact once more, but having 2 versus one was not very fair, plus this was Lea he would just grab the punk without hesitation or worry.
He grumbled taking steps back, there were way more things to worry about, he can most definitely get revenge later... Away from Lea, Xion, and really anyone's eyes straight up fist to fist. The red-head gave a wink slightly throwing off balance forcing a cool down, he managed a huff crossing his arms as if to state 'no more punching, swear'. He turned his attention back to the silver-hair vowing to to straighten anything said wrong or mishandled. The bastard immediately gave him a dirty eye before explaining, the tone oh he hated the tone used. Blondey couldn't deny the one being the first to lay a punch, still wasn't fair. Riku started it, ignored the truth given on a platter. Deep breaths, Lea would see his version of the story, no both their versions.
Though the guy went on, Roxas spoke half whiny voice with half desperation to get into Lea's head wrapped around the bigger problem here, than that moron Older brother right there. Who had no right to deserve such a great sibling as Xion. "Lea... She didn't contact me... Not a word. She's missing."

He had a valid point, and Lea knew that. But he tilted his head a little bit so Riku knew that they both knew why and where that was going. He really meant no disrespect to Riku by doing so, he really did understand why he was acting the way he was. Loosing someone you cared about was hard, and Riku seemed to care a little too much from time to time, so things like this were to be expected.

Lea knew that Xion would go to Roxas if she was to go to anyone, Lea knew this. Roxas and Xion had a connection that Lea really did admire, even though he was good friends with the pair. At this point, lea turned to Roxas as he knew if Roxas knew anything he would tell Lea for sure. "Lea... She didn't contact me... Not a word. She's missing."
Now there was a problem, not even Roxas knew where she was. Lea turned to Riku with a worried look on his face “Roxas doesn’t know where she is. So, we need to find someone who does” the redhead said with a concerned look on his face. “At the end of the day, I am now worried too, and I know for a fact Roxas would never lie to me… Got it memorized?” Lea wanted Riku to remember that they were that close and hopefully realize that the too did really care about Xion. And the phrase just seemed like a good fit, something he thought he should say more often.

Roxas wouldn't think twice about lying to Riku, but he would when it came to lying to Lea. It didn't mean he was telling the truth now, or that he wasn't just trying to continue to hide her, but...
Riku took a step back. A strange sensation of numbness was beginning to seep through him, and the wound on the back of his leg throbbed a painful reminder that made it clear why finding Xion was so vital. So important. She's gone. If Roxas didn't know where she was, then she was just... gone.
If he was lucky she had just... run away. Unlucky, and...
"I have to go." The words came out as a mumbled as Riku started to turn. Maybe Roxas-- the other Roxas-- would have an idea...?
Please... please just... don't have let the heartless've gotten to her...

Lea turned taking leadership of the situation pointing out that Roxas didn't know they certainly should find somebody who did. He was worried, the red-head was worried...He turned from admiring Lea to see how Riku took the news, something seemed to cross the man's face as he immediately scrambled words running away. Roxas found his heart pounding stepping forward shouting after the male, "That's what you should have done to begin with!" He wasn't sure why he felt saying it, maybe was a pride thing? An urge to fill that he had power too? Or reminder the guy screwed up. He wasn't even sure Riku heard him, he really didn't care just turned his back on the silver hair taking few steps the way he came.
His voice came out in a low almost threatening volume for any who had captured the girl, whoever they may be. Probably doing questionable things like cutting, chains, just.. He quickly shook his head, no no she was fine.. probably lost her phone or something like that.. might even be home. "Come on Lea, let's go look around town. We don't need him; split up... we might have a chance." Thus he walked complete opposite direction.
ooc: Stitch if you want we can continue it between Lea and Roxas emotional bonding. Or we could end it.

Riku’s reaction was somewhat expected, although, Lea did know that he had been known to do some pretty strange things when it had come to the safety of his sister. Lea didn’t judge him on that, but he was a little bit over the top.
Lea turned to Roxas, just in time to see him step forward and give a nice yell out to Riku who had already gone too far to have any chance to hear him. It started as a smirk on Lea’s face, then turned out to a loud burst of laughter. It wasn’t too long until he regained his composure and looked at Roxas with a smile, “Your one of a kind, Roxas.”.
He walked alongside the blond and looked down to him… “We will find her."
